To Know the Dark
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.

Greetings on this Solstice day! Today the sun rests in the sky, and we begin to inch our way, minute by minute, towards longer days and shorter nights. (While our friends in the Southern Hemisphere step from spring into summer).
This shift in daylight is a cue to take a moment of stillness for ourselves. To rest, to dream, to refuel our souls. It's the perfect time for Yoga Nidra.

Tomorrow, Monday, 12/22/25, I will lead my last online Yoga Nidra practice of the year. We begin at 4:00 p.m. EST, just before sunset. There is something so powerful about resting at this time of day, allowing yourself to experience the transition from day to night, and from fall into winter.
Yoga Nidra is guided and supported rest: a chance to set aside your to-do list, make yourself cozy, and access a deep release of inner and outer fatigue. It is a wonderful way to align with nature's cycles, and the perfect antidote to the glittering grinding busy-ness of the holiday season.
Monday, 12/22/25, 4:00-4:45 p.m. EST. Pay what you can ($1 and up). Register here.
If you can't join us tomorrow, I promise there will be more rest sessions coming in 2026.

Yoga Nidra for the Holidays is a simple practice: join online, make yourself comfortable, settle in, and do absolutely nothing! All you have to do is listen, and the practice will guide you to rest.
These events are open to all; no experience necessary; and offered on a Pay What You Can basis (set your own price, starting as low as $1).
Monday, December 22, 4:00-4:45 pm EST (Solstice sunset)
Register here. And please, spread the word to anyone who might benefit!
Everyone who attends will receive a recording of the practice to use at home.
I hope you will be able to join me!
Sending a moment of peace and quiet,
Stephanie
